M@XLAN® Cable
A range of Local Area Network (LAN) copper cables, with specifications to meet the requirements of Category 5E, 6 and 6A. -
M@XTEL® Lead In Telephone Cable
There are two types of lead-in Telephone cables: The Aerial self supported Telephone cable is designed for external aerial installations. The Galvanised steel wire is incorporated into the polyethelyne sheath in the "figure 8" formations. Whereas, the External Lead-In telephone cable is designed for external underground installations in ducts or by direct burial. This type of cable has a jelly-filled core for water blocking purposes, and optionally with a UV stabilised Polyamide as an effective terminte barrier. -
M@XTEL® Telephone Cable External
This copper telephone cable is designed for external underground installations in ducts or by direct burial. An optional Polyamide sheating provides an effective anti-termite barrier. For a more detailed description, please download our datasheet(s) / brochure. Alternatively our contact details are listed below if you wish to speak to a Prysmian Product Specialist for further information. -
M@XTEL® Telephone Cable Internal
These Internal cables have been upgraded to Category 3, 100Ω balanced, suitable for Local Area Network (LAN) network cabling (Up to 16 MHz). Data-grade UTP, capable of supporting transmission rates of up to 16 Mbps M@XTEL® internal Cat3 cable 3. 1/0.50 PACW, polyethylene insulated, twisted pair, unit construction, polyester core wrapped, PVC sheathed, ACMA approved. Cream coloured sheath. For a more detailed description, please download our datasheet(s) / brochure. Mass impregnated cables
These cables are presently suitable for voltages of up to 500 kV DC. The insulation consists of high-density paper tapes impregnated with a high-viscosity compound, which does not require fluid pressure feeding. These cables can be installed in high voltage DC links in very long lengths, up to several hundreds of kilometres. Present experience or trials are limited to water depths in the range of 1000 m, but deeper waters can be reached by using special design features. We tailor-make your solutions In order to meet different standards and preconditions we always tailor-make the cable systems in this area. Please contact our experts to specify your requirements. -

MassLink™
jPrysmian’s MassLink™ range presents the next stage in ribbon fibre optic cable development. By using an advanced FlexRibbon™ technology, Prysmian provides an ultra-compact, lightweight outside plant cables that contains up to 6912 bend insensitive fibres, with an overall diameter small enough to fit into a 50 mm duct. FlexRibbon™ in MassLink™ combine the benefits of ribbon mass fusion splicing with smaller diameters offered by stranded fibre cables. This brings together the best of both worlds. Features and Benefits Compact Design High fibre-density enables more fibre per duct. CAPEX Saving Smaller cables reduce civil cost. Lighter cable reduces transport cost and enhances hauling speed. Mass fusion splicing reduces splice time. Completely dry, gel free cable cuts down cable preparation time. Flexible Ribbon Matrix ... -
Medium Multi-function Joint (MMJ)
Medium Multi-function Joints (MMJ) are for jointing of optical fibre cables up to 288 fibres. Our new range of joints is designed to integrate state of the art features into very cost effective products. They not only save you money, but are also designed to eliminate heat shrink thus no need for a heat source in the field during installation. Using Mechanical Seals to terminate the cables lowers OH&S risks and negates risk of fires. Not only are the new joints fully compatible with all current cable technologies employed in Australia and New Zealand, they have also been designed to be ready for the new and emerging cable technologies, such as Prysmian’s FlexTube. MMJ Features Medium dome closure joint for up to... -
